Oleg Gutium has been the President of GAAPO, the Global Alliance of Authors and Performers Organizations, since 2023.

Since 2004, Oleg Gutium has been the Director of the Public Organization National Association COPYRIGHT, representing all the authors in Moldova.

He has been working in the music industry since 1990. He founded the company CDSound Records in 1992, engaged in wholesale and retail music media sales, pioneering the distribution of licensed products in the Moldovan market. In 1994, he opened the first commercial radio station in Moldova. Since 2000, he has led a media holding (Europa Plus TV, radio stations – Europa Plus Moldova, Radio 21, Radio MD). He is the Director of the music publishing agency Agentia-Editorial Muzicala.
